i updated and have had no problems and been playing skyrim

Only FPSs I've truely enjoyed was one random Wolfenstein game that was given away for free on the PC, MAG (but only for a little while) and Time Splitters 2, sadly everything else has not gone down well for me.

There's also a the chance I sometimes get motion sickness when playing some First Person games, so you know...the Bias is buried deep.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Dude Skryrim is known to have issues on PS3. Has nothing to do with the firmware update. Its pure coincedance. 

I have another PS3 that is still running 3.73 using the exact same save file (off the cloud) with another original PS3 (this one is a 20gig).  It has no problem at all running Skyrim. 

I have also reinstalled Skyrim, and both started a new game and loaded a earlier save off cloud, and each of these does the exact same thing on 4.0.  Never seen any issue with the 20gig. 

Based on the above I refuse to believe this is a coincidence.  Im much more inclined to believe there is an issue between the original PS3s and 4.0 + the newest version of Skyrim. 


I have a release date 60 GB and the situation with Skyrim was as bad with 3.73 as it is with 4.00. Not saying your not up to something but it surely doesnt affect everyone.

updated without issues of any kind... though that new warning is kinda annoying. Wish it had an option to not display again.

Games being played in my PS3 are me on BF3 and my kids on LBP2.

The only issue I have had is now the system no longer will install background downloads before shutting down. It will finish the downloads and that is all. This is when I tell the system to automatically shut down after background downloads complete.

have you played bioshock or half life 2 , they are great

Half Life 2 game me motion sickness, almost puked after 1hr of laying

I played the Bioshock 1 demo and liked what they were trying to do but ultimately I was non-plused.
