Why? It will be outdated, is not as powerful as a X360 and will not compete with PS4/720. It has the same franchises since 25 years ago, and every game (even Mario) is just a rehash of Ocarina of Time.

Did you look at the 3rd party games at E3? Looks worse than PS360! The controller looks uncomfortable, no matter if people at E3 said otherwise, didn't have clickable sticks and are that circle pads?!

Also, you can play with a PS3+Vita in the same way like the WiiU.

They only show Wii Sports 348356 and Wii Fit 738758. Are you casual?

Did I cover everything? anything I miss? .

you forgot:

that developers are stuggling to develop games for it because Nintendo could not even get the wireless to work because Nintendo used a very cheap piece of hardware for it

and you have to be casual, it's definitely not going to be hardcore, no blood, guns and sex, you must be a kid!? do you parents even allow you to use the internet??

and you are going to look even more stupid with that huge tablet than swinging the Wii-remote around

/runs with him

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I suffered 3DS-fever for a long time I know how it feels....No WiiU atm is not distracting me too much, when I'll see the new Smash Bros or the next retro game, I'll be probably drooling just like you.
The only thing I tought about the WiiU lately is the gamepad design, I'm sure it will be confortable but what bothers me is the design, it looks awkward it's undeniable...so I tought why they haven't made somthing more like this?

Don't get me wrong, of course it should look smooth and white, an it needs a better grip, but Iim talking about the concept of a sliding screen. (this was an old fan made PSP2 mockup if you haven't recognized it)

The design is sexy and all but you have to think about the layout. The screen is in the middle for a reason. Having the screen slide up and the buttons under it would make it harder to press additional buttons or items directly with your thumbs while using the buttons and sliders. It just makes more sense the way it is placed and makes for a smother and easier reach and.

Aha, yes you are right. You know in the "official " photo they always show has confused me about proportions. The woman holding the controller has small hands...You see I had doubts it would be confrotable holding it while pressing, for example the center of the screen.

From the second photo I can more clearly see you are right.

I never noticed that before. Hmmm...are we staring at Nintendo's next success story or not. I can't really decide for myself. I think there are too many other unknown factors of the console to take into consideration to be able to guess.

The later Apple designs (and newer HD tvs) usually have the screen right to the edge of the phone/tablet/display area. This might create an impression that the Wii U is not cutting edge. This could be an actual problem if the recent rumours of a roughly current gen Wii U are true (but surely they won't be).

I still like the PSP2 mock up better. I think you could fit a screen like that on a Dual Shock 4...hmmm...OLED.

One thing's for sure, good that the 3DS is starting to bring in money.

Give me smash bros. on WIIU launch and I'm in.

Hehe I know what you mean, I have bought Cowon mp3 player after my ipod crashed, the oled screen makes difference. And yes sure, good 3DS numbers are encouraging.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts. How can you have "U-Fever" over a console that is years outdated year(s) before it releases? Hm.. To each their own, I guess.

guys its the U-fever i couldn't help it :P

Lol, same here, I am counting the days until next e3, Cannt wait!!! U.U.U.U.U.U

Menx64

3DS code: 1289-8222-7215

NNid: Menx064

Also had some WiiU fever this summer during E3, but it's died down after knowing I will have to wait till the Xmas season for it. Now got two items fighting for their purchase during that time of the year: the WiiU and a hybrid win8 tablet/laptop (plus maybe Kinect for PC).

PS: I don't need any more wiimote pluses, just updated every last one of them this month... now if they make a nunchuk plus aswell I wouldn't mind buying two of those.
