will wait for the late january adjustment before meltdown, also I think most predicted the gap would be 3mill again after the holidays but the axebox did that a lot faster then expected, I could see the gap at 3.5-3.6 by year end and back at 3million by late February after adjustment and the ps3 regaining the weakly no 1 status but the xbox price cut next year should secure the victory of second place to the hawksbox

Over Sony, maybe, but to me it's like MS and Sony are two runners fighting so hard to hold each other back they let the third runner go straight past them and way ahead.  Even with 360 selling more currently Wii looks to have enough remaining demand to easily hold onto it's huge WW lead over both HD consoles.

But... good work for MS with another strong holiday performance.  It's definately the console of choice in US now even over the Wii.
