I thought AAA just meant big budget blockbuster type games. I mean according your assessment Black Ops or Battlefield 3 won't be AAA.

The thought of AAA being referred to a numerical score and not budget became more common when the PS3 exclusive Lair bombed in reviews. It sounded stupid to call that game AAA due to its budget, but lacking in overall quality.
AAA could also refer to a games success, but not anymore due to budget.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
