Inside the hypothetical console is a 2TB hard drive for storing those games, and a tuner for live TV. It is, in general, much nicer than the real system will be.

That console looks ugly as fuck.
On the other hand... "It also includes a built-in "KinectIn" sensor for menu navigation and to scan cards for purchased games -- buy the card, put it in front of the system, and either download it or play it streaming."
Do want. Get on this idea, Microsoft.

i agree, the card thing sounds amazing, but there would be some problems.
- it HAS to be online in order to get the game. While i couldnt care less about this fact, it might be a problem for some.
- Piracy; If every card has a unique Code, it only could be used once (or, simply only in your account after registering the game for it), or you can provide 20 people with 1 purchase. since i like to give friends my games to try them out, first would be kinda bad for me/us.
but overall, i'd be very tempted to buy a console that is built after this designer's idea of it.
it looks awesome, if only i were true, i don't like the uber curve though, i have my PS3 ontop my xbox cause PS3 has the failhump.
Hmm, looks like one of those Set Top Boxes ... which, going by the rumours, would be pretty fititng
I like the Kinect 2.0 they did though.
WTF the only requirement of dreaming up a hypothetical console design is that it look cool. That looks like ass. Its just a black box that looks like a computer.
The card scanner thing sounds cool though.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.
I always hate these things, they're always ugly as fuck, or boring as shit.
This falls into the latter category.
Looks ugly. Make it more like a box and less like a voluptuous woman.
And "Xbox Prestige" sounds terrible. Not sure how Microsoft will pull off a new name.
Well I would hope the next Xbox wouldn't look like that since that looks like a ugly Dell computer.
And a Kinect sensor inside doesn't make much sense seeing as many will need to position it somewhere else in order to make it work.
I like the way the rest sounds although I doubt there will be a 2 terabyte HD in it.
