In most cases my stay lasted several months.

First off, i completely agree that minority situation in germany is not better in the slightest. In lot of cases its much worse. But germans really can't do much about it without people screaming leftists screaming NAAAAAZIS at them. Plus there's still a retarded sense of guild from WW2 which doesn't allow people to do anything about situation.

In regards to Christmas it happened in some schools, and minorities themselves - muslims etc who were supposed to not be offended have been "wtf" about the overall ban of the word Christmas. You're quoting blogs mate, "reputable" source would be something along the lines of the Guardian, Times or BBC etc.
If you really think that's the majority of the UK population you're wrong, we're on the internet, you have no idea what kind of xenophobic idiots promise of no reprisal attracts, they know they can say whatever they want and get away with it. You're talking to mostly users who have negative view of the minorities due to the hate already within their families (immigrants come here, steal our jobs, treat us like shit and get away with it) view which is among the non educated society, much akin to the rednecks of the US - and that's what I gleaned from the posts that I read so far.
