Err... we have a conservative gorvenment in power (which is the government thats making a mess) and England's doing just fine... Assuming you're from America, you should worry about your own country since it's the US that seems to be the failure of the developed world in many ways, or at least a country that actually is struggling, and not England.

To get back at the topic, racism these days is virtually non-existant even if it is around it is part of isloated incidents (of a small minority). The only thing she did wrong was letting her child experience all this with her. Her pitiful remarks are actually quite funny and didn't see point of the aggro, laughing it off would of been a better solution especially in 2012.
