Pretty ironic don't you think? In the Anectodal sales evidence thread - http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=137044 - no one saw people buying Wiis. Yet Nintendo managed to have their biggest BF yet? 

Also EVERYONE saw people leaving with 360s and PS3s. They must have sold MASSIVE (500k+) numerbers.

From what I've heard, PS3 didn't do so well. It should've faired well, but probably not as much as the 360 adn Wii. Don't forget, every user has gone to only one shop so it isn't a good sample. Also everyone is biased with their opinion. From what my other friends have told me, Wii/360 should dominate BF

And yeah I am disappointed in Zelda, but hopefully week 1 will be closer to 1 million? 500k week one is a disappointment imo

Well it might not have been Black friday, but I finally bought me a black Gamecube compatible Wii that was bundled with Mario cart just yesterday. I bought Super Mario Galaxy along with my free copy of Metroid Other M. I gave up on buying a 4GB Xbox 360 for the Wii. Good choice.

Last year they said they did 600k but that was for the full week, this is just for BF (and stores that opened late Thursday). So going by BenVTriggers projection of PS3 being just slightly below Wii this means that PS3 should be over 500k across Americas.

Hopefully Sony release an estimate, the estimate I've been given isn't anywhere near 500k though.

half a million for one day only seems to be ok, even for Zelda.
500.000 for Wii just on the states is really great considering that it had pratically no deals and MS and Sony had a bunch of great deals!

Edit: Am i reading right? Did Reggie say half a million on a single day? WOW if accurate! I guess a lot of people might have chosen that day of the week to buy a Wii, but still, that means Wii`s sales for the BF week will be way better than i expected!

I just think that PS3 can't do 500k+ a week on thanksgiving week. In 2009 it did 400k for that week, and that was after the pricecut+slim and huuuge commercial campaign. I seriously doubt it could top that. don't forget, the Wii had th $100 Walmart deal which would've driven most of its sales, so judging from another store won't have the same outcome
