yeah sure that's why think as well nextbox won't release 2012 but, like sony put the ps3 on the market because of the 360 and i think wii as well, microsoft won't release the next xbox in 2014.
i don't think microsoft will let all wii users buy the wii u and don't care about it. 2 years advantage would be huge even if the next xbox will be much better then. they can't steal many customers of the wii then and they have to "fear" the ps4 as well.
for me 2013 would make best sense. then they can get a decent advantage against the wii u technically which would be less with a 2012 release and they won't release it against a huge wii u basis and maybe too late against the ps4 which would be the case with a 2014 release i think. doesn't mean they couldn't compete against sony but with a release one year before 2014 it would be easier i think. at least for europe, this playstation name is still so huge here in europe. brandname can't grow anymore but it's hard to get to this popularity.
