Faulty internet in my dorm yesterday meant i played a bit more. Beat the 2nd boss and began picking my way through Lanayru province.

Oddly i found the Earth Temple easier than the Skyview Temple, though that may be because i'm more acclimated to the game, i also think the flow of the Earth Temple was easier to track than how Skyview was mapped out. What you did in Earth was harder, but Skyview's design was a bit more obtuse.

Scaldera i thoroughly enjoyed. Exactly what i've wanted out of Zelda bosses, as in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (and even worse in the DS games) bosses became so much about fighting around the feet of these towering behemoths, figuring out the pattern and then executing the pattern. Scaldera still had a pattern, of course, but it felt so much more organic, a living thing closer down to your level (but still monstrous) that you were really fighting against

Hope future bosses are this cool...

I'm just entering the 5th dungeon.

Trust me: They get better.

And it will get even better. Even The Imprisioned gets better.

I just beat the 4th temple, the one with all the waterspout things. Man that boss was incredibly awesome! And tough! As was the miniboss for that temple, I very nearly died fighting that guy... O_O' I'm a bit over 30 hours in now, I believe.

If I remember correctly, it's after the 5th dungeon.

Actually it's not immediately after it, that just gets the additional 4 dowsing slots, then you have to do something specific to find the 4 new targets (I just researched how to get the top left one as I hadn't unlocked it)

I've just entered the fouth dungeon. What a pity, when I saw the look of this temple I inmediately knew which one was the dungeon boss, it appeared in preliminary Skyward Sword trailers.

I am really liking the game so far. It's really challenging and I've died lots of times as opposite to other Zelda titles.

A little more irritated in the run into the Lanayru Mines. One of the segments required a good deal of finesse for something this early in the game

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
