so you want a metal gear solid game that isn't a metal gear solid game?  might as well ask for a mario platformer where mario can't jump...

The difference is, when Mario jumps you're controlling him. This is known as gameplay, something MGS severly lacks.

I guess you haven't noticed that most games these days are not only about the gameplay. Sure, gameplay is probably the most important factor but it's not like it wasn't good in MGS4. The cut scenes and story are what differentiate MGS from other stealth/shooters.

The gameplay isn't bad, it's just not enough.

In that case I take it back. He's not forgiven.

I confirmed that now... the main Kojima's Team was working in Peace Walker and now maybe working in MGS5... the other Kojima's Team is working in Rising.

Kojima words: "I'm not the director. I'm not doing game design either. Although, I do issue complaints (laughs). But, not too much."

Kojima isn't directly involved with the development of Rising.

If the canon series taught me anything it's that anyone is a potential main character when it comes to Kojima.

I know you hate my opinions but they are awesome.


what loose ends?? Ive played them all, and the story is pretty much a wrap. The only mystery is Raiden and i think that is being taken care of in Rising

I don't think Kojima can stay away from the MGS series. I really wouldn't mind another Big Boss sequel I thought Peace Walker was much better than MGS4. I also wouldn't mind a Metal Gear remake.

The way I interpreted it as. Make Rising good, so that gamers don't feel cheated and the MGS experience as a whole isn't cheapened but a blatant money grab from faithful fans.
