bump , better quality video posted.
I've never played a western rpg, and I too prefer third person than first person view, however I'm really interested to play this game. The combat system looks a bit complicated, I prefer the jrpg style, but I read that's not the point in a game like this but more about the story and the massive world. I really think I may like it.
Some questions:
- Is the PC version bug free? Without crashes?
- If it crashes, does it crash the PC or just the game close down?
- If I can run Arkham Asylum, can I run this game as well?
Castlevania Judgment FC: 1161 - 3389 - 1512
3DS Friend Code: 3480-2746-6289
Wii Friend Code: 4268-9719-1932-3069
I am waiting for the GOTY edition of this game to be released with all the upcoming DLC and all the issues to be fixed with updates and patches.

the fighting isn't really complex , its because i'm batteling a dragon on higher difficulty, and only using magic, this dragon isn't actually all that tough, if you notice that giant at the end is a lot tougher than the dragon.
as for your questions
no its not bug free, but its not buggy, if you played Red Dead Redemption is basically the same, with less hilarious bugs (like those man animals)
as for crashes, as long as you don't do it intentionally, but i did have one time where it crashed, might be because i was installing Battlefield in the background.
as for running it, do you run Arkham asylum on full settings? , i suggest you go to this site, and let it scan your PC , it will see what graphic card you own and compare it to the game you choose to run ,it will tell you if it can run it on minimum or max setting

you have patience, i actually bought this game the moment they allowed me to prepurchase it on steam, i think it was mid this year or something xD
I don't understand why they removed spell creation, the game becomes fairly unbalanced for magic users when you see the crazy weapons and gear archers and melee characters (but especially archers) get their hands on. It just seems like every video I see, magic users are having trouble with even basic enemies since the spells cause so little damage. I guess one can rely on illusion and summons but there are bosses that can turn summons against you and dispel illusions, in such a fight, one would be pretty hard pressed to kill them off with the rather simple and inefficent destruction spells.
Yes, the spells improve with levels and gear but are still hopelessly inefficent compared to a good stealth character with a bow.
The magic system itself was rather boring in Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion but there were some seriously powerful spells to be made. I guess the shouts make up for some of it but these are available to everyone so it doesn't really matter.
Oh my goodness, I have three friends at work who can't seem to talk about nothing but Skyrim. I'm not a big RPG gamer but I promised them that I will give this game at least five hours of gameplay to decide if I like it. So I will rent as soon as I can and see where it goes. I'll post my thoughts on the game in here
.

The magic is actually pretty powerful if you use it right, some enemies are resistant to magic , like dragons , but zombies and undead can be killed by magic easily, and even so some enemies are immune to fire for example, if i had a frost magic, this fight would be a lot shorter.

Yeah, the magic is powerful later on but you have to unlock the perks to buy the tomes etc. I guess playing a mage is really hard early in the game. Then again, so was playing a thief before I got a proper bow and leveled sneak perks for added critical damage.
I like the idea of dual-wielding magic and the magic itself is a lot more fun than in previous TES games but I still feel we should have gotten more customization and spell creation.

well i tried breton and high elf it wasn't hard, but i tried imperial with magic, and it wasn't easy, so i think it depends on the race you pick
