SONY will be fine -- they just have endure the next few years and invest in mid-term and long-term strategies. The bulk of SONY's current problems come from two area's: there electronics department and the strength of the Yen.
Anyway once the Euro zone and US financial situations are resolved and investor faith is restored expect the investors who are stubbornly investing in the Yen driving up its value to abandon the Yen since the Yen/Japanese economy is considered a ticking time-bomb financially speaking (they have a massive debt-to-GDP levels with an aging population and no real long-term solution).

This thread and who it is posted by is oh so predictable. I know how much you want sony to stop making hardware for some stupid childish reason, but the fact is yes they are losing ALOT money but they are never going to stop making the playstation hardware as much you hate to hear it.
You are always the person who is posting teh sony is doomed articles, give it a rest mate. This site is about games, keep it that way.

PlayStation Division is profitable again, its not the Playstation Brand they would drop, Its the TV business that they will probably have to get out of, if they cant turn it around.
Remember Sony is an absolutely massive company it is so much more than just PlayStation,
TV's, Films, Music, Hifis, MP3 players, PC's, Phones, Tablets, Software services, Etc, Etc
You dont cut off your profit making arms to spite your ones that are making a loss.
Strangely, its the company putting the most ressources in making games lol.
Sony is having such a bad year.....First the Wii, Hacking fiasco, Xbox 360 and now the stocks are down....

Yes! Then Sony can make their games for Nintendo platforms so that i can play them. I've always been a Sony fan, i just hate their hardware...
