Forums - Nintendo - Zumba Fitness 2 set for stealth release?

It's curious how some publishers treat their Wii releases, very few titles have had a strong marketing behind them; and then there are stealth releases, as we've recently seen in MW3.

What is Majesco doing with it's best seller Zumba Fitness? After the stellar sales last year with a total of 3+ million copies just on Wii, they've increased development costs by using motion caption on their instructors in order to jump from JD video format to using 3D models. Even with higher costs the game is releasing as a Wii exclusive during this holiday season, with the improved Kinect version called Rush featuring 10 more songs and double the instructors for February next year (they deserve it).

Have you seen ads on TV yet? It's supposedly coming out next week in America and in two weeks for Europe.

The original game was stealth released, I saw no ads for it, word of mouth got it to where it was at, and it will work this time. Not sure about 360 version

Zumba is built on top of just dance crave for "fun" dancing games on the Wii. it was successful at that. Zumba 2 will definitely receive a budget for ads this time.
