11: Dissidia PSP

No matter what anyone says, 012 is not as good as 013. This was the definitive fanservice for FF fans not that Lightning fest that was 013

10: Sensible Soccer SNES

The first ever football game I have became addicted to because of its simplicity and level of awesomeness.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Super Mario Galaxy as we crack the top 10. Here was a game that really blew me away, capturing my imagination for being just what a Mario game, in my mind, should be, but also giving me something new and unexpected

Some fun:

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

#10 - Prince of Persia (PS3/360)

A slow burn title. At the time I didn't love the game, but as the generation has progressed it's grown on me a lot. I absolutely love the art style - very much like a painting, with amazing vistas. Cue screenshot:

And yes, for once it actually looks like that in-game (better in fact).

The combat sucked, but it's great to traverse around this huge, varied world, healing the lands. The music was fantastic, the interactions between the Prince of Elika grew on me over the course of the game, particularly the Prince's Uncharted-esque one-liners, and the platforming was smooth and fun. I really want a sequel, although I fear it would take away from this title's uniqueness if there was one, so maybe it's better off standing alone.

Great choice. This game is really under appreciated imo. The art style, the classic PoP platforming and the relationship between Elika and the Prince just made it a joy to play.

#9 Zelda, The wind waker played on GC, released 2002

My favorite Zelda game. This is how I like zelda best, colorful and cheerful with lots on endearing characters. I'm not really into the darker serious side of zelda games, hence twilight princess did not make my top 50.
I immediately fell in love with the artstyle of Windwaker with its timeless beauty. It's a shame the low resolution of the gc doesn't do it justice on todays lcd screens. It's amazing how much emotion Nintendo can put into the characters with just a few simple expressions. Windwaker comes closest for me to being inside an actual cartoon world. The lighting inside Dragon roost canon illustrates it the best.

The dungeons are great as always but the part I really liked was setting out on the ocean and exploring all the little islands. As soon as I could I set out to chart my own map and check out all the things I could find in the ocean. A very relaxing and rewarding experience.

My favourite boss fight was against the plant like creature in the forbidden woods. The one I had the most difficulty with was the ancient guardian of the tower of the gods. But that was because I hadn't bothered to read the manual and didn't know you could lock on to targets. Trying to shoot the hands without that was very frustrating. I learned my lesson.

A great game I would love to play again some time in HD.

9. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)

MGS4 is a true masterpiece. Its' story is one of the best I've seen in a videogame, the voice acting and sound is great and the improved gameplay made this a bigger joy to play than older MGS games.

The sound effects and music are awesome, mgs4 gave me goosebumps several times. And playing the mech section at full volume 5.1 uncompressed surround, pure sensory overload. MGS4 is definitely in the play again pile.

Can't agree more with this, that part was really awesome. I think my favourite parts in the game (regarding music) were the final battle against Liquid and during the conversation in the end with boss Big Boss. Simply amazing!

9. Mario Kart 64 (N64)

Mario Kart 64 was the first Mario Kart I owned, but it wasn't the first one I played, as I wasted many an hour playing the original Super Mario Kart on a friends SNES, but if I'm honest with myself I never loved that game. Then on Christmas day in 1997, I received this along with an N64 console, which made for a great Christmas, but it was also the moment I truly started to love the franchise, and that's why this is my favourite Mario Kart. My character of choice was Yoshi, and that's something I generally stick with in every Mario Kart today. My favourite tracks were probably Bowser's Castle and Sherbet Land, and on top of that I'd say I quite enjoyed Rainbow Road despite a lack of hazards purely because it has the best music of any Rainbow Road so far.

You should really get Poseidon expansion pack since it adds more scenarios and campaing (and all the houses have blue roof instead or red xD) and replaces other buildings. It's nice to see someone loved this game too

Oh, Believe you me, I've tried to get it, but the game is quite hard to find 'round these parts. I did find one website that allegedly had a copy, but when the package arrived, it turns out it was just the original game. In Swedish. >:-I

Maybe one of these days I'll just download it.
