I probably PM'ed it to him. Though looking now I don't see anything really out of line by him, but back then I would warn for almost anything I saw since a warning from me is essentially no punishment but just a heads-up that people are reporting their posts.

 Seriously, some of us don't like that. Not to pick on you but by way of explanation. Maybe it's just among the North American Japanese. Maybe it's just the older folks (40+). But seriously, it has a history as a derogatory term.

I can honestly say after reading all that there is almost no way I could ever get banned from this place...

I usually just warn. The one thing that I don't tolerate though is bigotry of any kind. If you insult other religions, races, sexes, sexualities, then I will ban you. It will probably be a short ban on first offense but after that I have zero tolerance for that crap. If you insult other users I'll usually warn you (by personal message) or on a second offense give a short ban and then make the bans progressively longer if you keep it up until eventually I would permaban you.

I do permaban any accounts made for the sole purpose of trolling the site and posting inappropriate content without ever contributing. Oh, and I also warn for trolling.  Posting for example "Wii/PS3/360 sucks." in a topic and nothing else then moving on to the next topic.  If you do this repeatedly despite warnings then I'll give you a short ban, and if trolling is all you do on the site then I'll probably permaban you.  

I have a question for you Naznatips: Are you easier on people with high post counts and people who been here for a longer time?

Well, yes and no.  The post count in and of itself is not a determining factor, but if I'm familiar with the user's posts, and I know they are usually reasonable posters, then I'm more lenient.  Of course, if they have a high post count and most of those posts are trolls and they have been banned many many times then I'm more likely to ban them longer.
