wow check those review scores :O

Considering Oblivion got such high scores and had quite a bit of flaws.... skyrim doesnt need to do that much more to get a better reception.

and yes. Dark Soul's should be GoTY but it will be overshadowed.

Should be arriving for PC tomorrow. Edge review sums it up best for me. Now all we need is the controversy of a few low reviews and we're all set for a BIG discussion.

preordered it on amazon with release day shipping for the pc. It better be there by tomorrow because my university's postoffice is closed on the weekends. These scores really are spectacular. Oblivion got very high scores at a time when pretty much any major game was almost guaranteed to get a 93+ metacritic. Reviewers have been especially harsh this year so for it to have improved on oblivion's metacritic, at least for now, is nothing short of spectacular.

The most amazing news is, at least from the reviews I read so far, this game doesn't seem to be that buggy. I think this is a first for a Bethesda game!

PS3 version has a lower metacritic is that because of it getting lower scores? or less scores added to the average?

This is one of two games I've bought day one this year. I think I can count on one hand the numer of games I've bought day one. Downloading Skyrim now but I still have to wait until 01:00 before I can play it!

I originally predicted a 94% Meta and 8 million lifetime sales between PS360. That is a lock now. The pre-orders suggest a 2.5 million first week opening minimum.
