demon's souls (PS3)......that game got me losing my mind over how difficult the game was!!

While I feel your pain, I didn't find it too hard.  And the difficulty it did have at least was fair, as opposed to the stupid "Instakill can't defend yourself or hide" bullshit Call of Duty pulls in its campaign.

Challenging but rewarding.  Not as hard as people make it out to sound.

As for the guys saying Yoshi's Island DS...I didn't think it was all that bad.  I actually quite enjoyed it.

It certainly wasn't a bad game (which is why I didn't originally post it), as it had some enjoyable moments. But for me, it couldn't hold a candle to the sublime Yoshi's Island on the SNES, and that's why it's my biggest disappointment this gen.

I'm not entirely sure that's fair.  I mean, basing a game on whether it's as good as its precessesor is a little unfair when you're comparing to a bona fide classic.  Personally, I Felt it was as good as could be expected.

Fallout 3: Looked cool on video and reviews were favorable.

Played it, its WAY TOO boring. The worst part is that I bought the $60 game of the year edition :/

Oblivion (PS3): I can't understand why people like it.
I remember I bought a Dragon Ball game for the Gameboy Advance... What a bad game!!!!! And the worst thing was... It lasted like 3 hours!

lol I am quite surprised anyone would randomly buy a game because it looks good for 60 dollars.
Usually you would buy a game with strong reviews or strong sales.

I always go Used or buy online for cheap.

Didn't like Gran Turismo 3

Bought Wipeout for the Wii for the kids, predictably a piece of shit

Got Madworld for free and still felt ripped off

For all the people saying Oblivion and fallout, on one hand I actually agree with you, but on the other I think you're missing the point (not to say you should be forced to like it. If the point's not for you, then it's not for you. I'm cool with that.)

The thing is, those are RPG's, it's more about your own avatar development and the open worlds, it's not about the refinement of the gameplay. they have some glitches, and I'm personally not a fan of truly open sandbox styled games (I prefer direction), but I totally understand why someone would hate it. Hell, I loved Oblivion with a passion, but I never finished it because it had one fatal flaw in my opinion: it had no drive or direction. when the main plot is only like 1/8th of the total game, and it does very little to push you there, it gets a little aimless.

Again, not for everyone.

Enslaved. i was really disappointed in that game.
Mw2. I was absolutely obsessed with Cod4 and i gave up playing it for 3 months when it was still a big deal to play mw2 as long as i wanted since everyone said there was no way it would be terrible. Needless to say boy was i wrong.
