Forums - Gaming - New Assassins Creed and Call of Duty announced.

Assassins Creed

Call of Duty

They need to give Assassins Creed a rest. at least with Call of Duty the games sell more with each game and theyre multiplayer heavy, but Assassins Creed is just getting boring and the new game is about 500,000 copies behind AC2 at the same point despite AC2 getting rave reviews and the consoles getting a bigger install base.

Revelationjs could end up selling less copies in the long run.

This COD had lines out the door still yesterday at 9pm! At the local Gamestop. So a yearly title will probably be happening for a while!

At the store i got it from the were queuing all the way across the shop, when you went in you were asked if you wanted the PS3 or Xbox version, you were given a ticket then you had to go join the specific queue.

hey we already knew this, that what we have learnt over the last 4 years

COD'S success will slowly come to a halt after next year

with next gen coming and people geting sick of COD,i am waiting for that day when Activision has nothing else to milk

I nearly fell of my chair with this news, but at least this should be AC III with a new character, which I feel will re-interest many fans. As for CoD, hopefully it is in the same style as BLOPS as I really liked the SP of that game, and not another modern military shooter

I couldn't care less about Call of Duty but I am happy about Assassin's Creed 3. Like Munkeh said, a new character would be interesting.

Assassin's Creed has kept the level of quality despite yearly releases. They're solid games mainly due to story and atmosphere.

Casuals don't follow the hardcore.

Also, you ever consider the fact that CoD's quality may be responsible for it's success?

Nope, can't be. After all, it's the internet forum users who make up the most sales, and not the quality of a title.

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.
