Man for everyone downing UbiSoft they aren't really that bad of a publisher.
On GameCube I owned like 6 UbiSoft games during the years I owned GameCube. Now evidently I sold four of them and only kept two but their support was appreciated.
On Wii I bought two UbiSoft titles near launch. Red Steel was actually pretty good it wasn't anything mind blowing but the game was decent and held its own against a lot of the future FPS releases on Wii. As others mentioned Raving Rabbids while not the typical hardcore game was pretty good and served its purpose.
I agree most of what they brought to Wii and DS was utter shit. Their 3DS support was also less then stellar with ports and remakes and the original Ghost Recon game was so low budget it isn't funny.
But I must say some of my favorite IP come from UbiSoft. Rayman, FarCry, Ghost Recon, Driver, Prince Of Persia. Thats not including the other games that are massive and I am not the biggest fan of like Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed!
Personally I am looking forward to "Killer Freaks from outer space" the game looks and sounds pretty cool. I would love to see UbiSoft Montreal's games all come to WiiU in the future hopefully multiplatform. Beyond Good and Evil 2 is bound to be coming to WiiU.
In the end I am all for UbiSoft supporting WiiU if they don't let quality go down in exchange for quantity and quick sales. I want to see quality software and yah Just Dance is welcomed as well and some of the casual crap is also welcome. But UbiSoft just needs to keep quality in check this generation!
