Not surprised; it is Shin'en after all. Their Wiiware games Jett Rocket and FAST Racing League are among the best looking games on the Wii despite being limited to 40MB. Theu're virtually unsurpassed when it comes to pushing Nintendo hardware.

Also, they pretty much always do 60fps, so the fact that this is running at 60fps AND 3D while still looking this good is darn impressive. Easily the best looking 3DS game to date. (RE: Revelations may change that, but that's a ways off...)

Looks fantastic, I would argue that MH3G looks slightly better, but this looks amazing nonetheless.

Nah this game takes it by a mile imo. Look at this vid for instance. (skip to 3:54)  This looks like a flat out next(current) gen game.
