Don't know if anyone has noticed this yet, but the 'FIVE' across the V for the GTA V logo has some pretty interesting clues.

The FIVE is the exact same font as is found on a five dollar bill, as is the shade of green and even the patterning on the V.

This would suggest a modern setting, I'm guessing which sends up the recent banking crisis and financial problems...

I'm pretty sure that one was a joke about how a lot of people expected (or hoped) the release of GTA IV would kill of Wii sales or something

OT: Hmm, I don't know whether to be excited or not. GTA IV was a huge letdown and they took the series in a direction I did not appreciate at all but Red Dead showed us that they still know how to make good games so it could go both ways.

Hell, I'm a bit excited, when Rockstar get things right, they make some of the most entertaining games on the planet!

I am going to predict an April release like last release. This is the best gaming news I heard in awhile even if it was obvious it would be announced soon.

If I'm not mistaken, gta4 wasn't made by the regular gta team. This may have something to do with the quality of the game being lower than usual. When GTA5 comes out I think people will be impressed . If you don't remember, gta4 came out in 2008, so I'm sure many optimizations have been made to the engine. San Andreas 2.0 FTW.
