Forums - General - VGChartz USA Citizens - couple of quick questions :P

Heading to Washington DC for the week (history trip :D) - just wondering a couple of things

- I was thinking of buying the new Professor Layton while I'm out there; how many $ do new DS games cost over there?
- How much for food, ie. fast food places? Also, how hard will it be to find a place to eat in Washington DC? (I can't imagine it'll be that difficult, but you've always got to make sure xD)

Anyway, thanks all :)

Good one (actually, wouldn't be a bad idea ).

OP:

Layton costs about $35: http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-layton

It is a top quality game and you're gonna adore it.

DON'T DRINK THE WATER!

1 drink = +15 Radiation & +2 HP. It's not worth it dude.

1. New DS games (the big ones like Professor Layton/Pokemon/Zelda/etc.) will cost you $34.99 (not including tax)
2. A typical fast food meal (Entree, side, and a drink), will be anywhere from $5.50-$8.50, depending on the entree and if you want to "value size" (MOAR FRIES AND DRINK!) it.

Have fun in DC, I haven't been there myself (even though I'm relatively close to it), but I've always wanted to go.

"value size" sounds like fun - is that the kind of heart attack inducing stuff that you only see on TV? :P

Even the water surrounding Chernobyl is more pure than the one you can get in DC. +14 Radiation and +3HP!
Or was it +140 Radiation? Not sure.Try it out for yourselves ^^.

Fast Food restaurants usually have three different sizes of their french fries and drinks: Small, Medium (Default), and Large (Value Size).

For example, I worked at Chick-Fil-A (a chicken based fast food restaurant) and we had the same thing. I'm not too sure about the actual sizes of the fries, but for drinks its like this: Small (14 oz.) Medium (20 oz.) and Large (32 oz.)

Yep... 32 oz is 0.95 litres.

I heard that drink sizes in the UK/Europe were miniscule compared to the US, but you're saying that our large is twice as large as your large? Hilarious (and oh so American). Love it (seriously, I love our large drinks).
