The score is a whopping 39/40!

The first review for Final Fantasy Type-0 has been released, and unsurprisingly, Famitsu are the first out of the gate with it. The four reviewers gave the game 10, 9, 10 and 10 respectively, giving the game a total score of 39/40. This is the same score FFXIII attained from Famitsu.

Great score. I wonder if it's coming to the West.

Adding that tid bit would most likely discourage users from getting this awesome game. Wonder when it comes out in the western markets. 

Don't Famitsu base their scores on how "hyped" people are for something?

They paid them or the game is really good this time?

Hype plays a huge factor in gaming scores from Famitsu, I believe they even admit it at one time. So ya, scores are meaningless from them. However if an hyped game gets a bad score, that is a bad sign. 

This is pretty much the only reason I now disregard any scores given by Famitsu...

doesnt mean anything from Famitsu...they also gave XIII a 39 score?shiet XIII sucked IMO...but still Type-O is going to be awesome!!!

I hope they fix the camera and the battle system because there's a lot of complain from those.
