Ideally Uncharted 4 should launch as a ps4 launch title. This way Naughty dog can make another amazing leap and really wow us like they did with U2 and possibly grow the franchise even more. It will also be for the good of the ps4 to have a renowned title like uncharted be available at launch and should do wonders for the success of ps4. I know i would immediately be sold on ps4 if i knew uncharted would be on it, im sure many fans feel the same.

Now if they had atleast another team, then they could create a completely new franchise for the following year. Depending on the confidence they have in the new franchise, they could even go with that as a luanch title instead of uncharted and do uncharted for the following year. Id go with uncharted as the luanch title though as ps3 kinda proved that not having an established franchise at luanch isnt the best way to go about it.

If they had a third team they could revisit a franchise a older franchise like jak.

I feel naughty dog were one of the few sony first party developers this gen that actually nailed it when it came to creating a new successful IP. I think killzone, resistance, motorstorm and a few others will definately fall away next gen IMO. they should really. With the resources and backing that sony give their developers, they should be doing much better. People blame the advertising and marketing of Sony...which definately played a part but ive come across way too many people who simply did not like those games but liked other games in the same genres.

Good post. A big franchise as launch title would certainly help. Also you are right about some of the other IP's feeling a little underwhelming. Infamous 1 i thought was okay (haven't played the 2nd one yet), Motorstorm 2 was fun game but the franchise is not something people would stick with as the 3rd one just had no hype.

I hope not.

I always complain about Halo and Assassin's Creed being milked, I don't want Uncharted to be on that list too. Same for Gears of War, a fourth game is rumoured.

BUT I ASKED HOW!!! I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHY HE THOUGHT THE STORY WAS SO GOOD. He than replied with saying i completely missed his point. He said story was good like in uc3, i asked how, he said i completely missed his point (!?) I NEVER HAD A FUCKING POINT TO BEGIN WITH! So again, its either your lifes goal never to be corrected and always to win an internet debate or just to simply annoy me. Im gonna go with the latter, and just end this nonsense here.

Well yeah, because that wasn't the point he had, so you missing the point. As you said, it's subjective, don't have to explain no thang. For the record, you never corrected me, considering how I never made the initial point. I must admit though, you are pretty fun to reply back to, but you do seem to be taking all of this a little too close to heart.

Again, the only reason why the "debate" continued, was because you revived it. If you hadn't revived it, then there wouldn't have been one right now. So I'd say you're the one who has the life gold of being professional internet.
