OUT of all the games sony has, they decide to nickel and dime the customers of the game that has sold the most this generation. What the **** were they thinking?

Expected a lot better from Kaz.

"Regarding the DLC usage for multiple accounts, e’re planning an another update for GT5 in December. In that update users who purchased cars and tracks from the DLC already, can receive a free “family upgrade” in the PS Store, which will let all users in the same PS console use the DLC.

And though we looked into this, unfortunately there’s no solution for crossing multiple regions.

I’m sorry, but we have to ask you to match the region of your disc and your PSN account setting.

People who bought the DLC cars will have those cars added to the dealers in the December update.

After this December update you can purchase a second car and so on from the dealer.

Next, don’t get your hopes up too high, but PDI is also readying a X-mas present for those who’ve already bought multiple DLCs."

Well, it wouldn't make much sense to nickel and dime customers on games they do not really care about in the first place. It's got to be a game where people think that DLC might be worth paying for.


That's true I guess. Still don't like it.

The whole thing is a complete mess and just a last minute bid to make some more money by implicating the "one account rule" and introducing a difficult system of buying it. in my opinion its a really bad move by sony and it will only upset their users and drive them away from getting it. BAD MOVE SONY BAD MOVE!!!! also see what i did with the "drive people away" im so funny!!! ha... aha... lol... (goes to back room and kills self)*

Okay, so my PSN account region is Canada, and the region of my copy of GranTurismo is R1, (BCUS 98114).

Am I safe to buy the DLC when it comes out on Tuesday?

I can't say yes... I just know my brasilian account uses the same DLC from US region.

But Brazil technically falls under "South America" so wouldn't video games be Region 1?
