Playstation 3 or Xbox 360?  Why?  State your case, please.

And the reason is that the first one sold better on the PS3 than on the 360 (2.75 vs 2.17 millions), and I don't see why it should change this time... unless the xbox360 version has some extras that the others don't.

well the preoders are so close, but 360 has more the PS3, and then theres the 360 bundles. but in the end like most games PS3 will overtake the 360 version.

The PS3 version of Arkham Asylum sold better and there is little reason to think the pattern would not repeat itself this time. If anything, both versions should sell better than the PC (at least not counting digital sales) and the Wii U, which will come too late despite being the one I'll probably buy -- I am following the policy of waiting for GOTY edition to any game that will be milked by DLC releases.

The one that's marketed the most. If both versions are marketed the same, then probably PS3, just like Arkham Asylum.

The PS3

Pre-orders indicate that the PS3 version is on par with the X360 version in Americas. The EMEAA region will then boost PS3 WW sales above the X360's.

Dead Space on PS3 outsold the 360 version by 400,000. Dead Space 2 360 outsold the PS3 version by 150,000.

Xbox usually wins out 9 outta 10 times. Itll sell more on Xbox.

PS3 version because it has more extra content and this version will sell better in other regions.

Plus im buying arkham city for ps3 as well. I actually prefer the dual shock for this type of game.
