Forums - Sales - Sony: Move Shipments 8.3 million

Not surprised since there are not many dedicated move games. Most are just dualshock 3 games with the option for Move.

But considering how shipments are 8.3 million and unlike Kinect, one user can buy more then 1 move controller, your looking at a 4-5 approx. install base. Thats what happens when you dont market your product I suppose.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I think the next main Move game is going to be Sorcery... I want this damn game!!!!

Where the hell is Sorcery??

It was intened yo be just a low-key title like the other MOVE games. However, after enormous positive reactions, Sony decided to treat the title as an AAA game.

Sales have been very low lately. Looking at their future lineup, Sony doesn't seem to care about the Move as much as before. Hopefully, this translates into increased manpower for Vita. I'd much rather see them spending resourcs on Vita than Move.

Oh well, too bad for MOVE fans, I guess.

I sort of regret buying my Move controller and Nav, it's been pretty disappointing so far, I mean sure it works well, but there hasn't been enough games that I've wanted, I mean there's games that have Move compatibility, but really, I feel just as good, if not better, playing them with a Dualshock 3 instead...

Same here dude. My Move is collecting dust.

Sony really has not made a compelling reason to own Move and not even having Move go on sale at Gamestop and Amazon has helped.

Playstation Move has been on sale a bunch of times on Amazon. Just a few days ago it was on sale at Gamestop as well.

Are there a lot of games on the ps3 that support move? I know they had there initial launch games.but I hae not heard about too many since then.

the main game many are waiting for is sorcery. it seems to use the controls the best. it should launch next yr. i see a 300k
boost when that game launches if not more.

glad I didn't buy move. nothing worth mentioning.

I prefer it when I don't understand your posts ...

Man, either Move sales have completely stagnated or one Sony rep is talking to the other.
