Well with the PSPGo software in retail was priced pretty much identically to software you downloaded. Leaving a bad taste in consumers mouths because they were getting less for their money. The fact you don't get anything physical means you shouldn't have to pay the same price as the physical copy.
It appears Sony realized it was a mistake to sell its software for the same price via download. So for Vita it has now been officially announced games will cost less via download then the physical copies. Just how much less? up to 15$ (Converted currency from Yen price) expect a smaller difference when the games come to North America but it could cost as much as 10$ or so less for your latest game.
Titles confirmed to carry these drastically cheaper price tags are Uncharted, Hot Shots Golf 6 while some third party games like Ridge Racer and katamrari Damacy Novita will only have a drastically cheaper price tag for a limited amount of time following the release of PSVita!
Are you excited to here that downloading will now be significantly cheaper then buying retail? Was this move necessary and will it benefit Sony a lot more then the PSPGo style pricing?
