It can't be a coincidence that both Patcher and VGC estimated around 260k and NPD has the PS3 at 260k if we take MOM.

Month over month sounds more plausible with Resistance 3 being one blockbuster release compared to none in August (at least not that I recall).


very realistic because this september there ws dead island, madden and resistance and last year was ......sports championschip.... lol

so maybe the growth to last year was 60% or even mor but no clue what sony means.

Unfortunatly, there is no way, PS3 is up 20% YOY (no indication of beeing possible).

If those PS3 260k numbers are true, then, the price drop had very little effect in America.

Uncharted 3 or tank (when it come to boosting hardware in Americas) this year for PS3

If it is 374k, I'm surprised Sony didn't boast, whilst it isn't 1st it's mighty impressive for US numbers.

Great numbers for Gears, and the 360 continues to impress. The PS3 just keep surviving.

I'm thinking it's 20% over August because if it was YoY I think they would used a bigger number to describe (52% if it was YoY).
