They won the cup like 3 years ago! I keep betting on them to lose but it hasn't happened yet. Crazy to think the season is about 25% done now. Blackhawks are about to go on a 4-5 game losing streak. 


True, but a couple years before that they weren't even on the radar. They couldn't even make the playoffs, and home games weren't broadcasted because the owners were too cheap. They were basically a non entity in Chicago, and a team in disarray. How things change..


At one time the Wolves were outdrawing the Blackhawks.  Even on the weekends.  For those of you who do not know, the Chicago Wolves are a hockey team in the AHL which is like Triple A for hockey.

Quite honestly since the avs are Columbus bad I have little desire to watch the NHL period. At least other years they sucked they were still amongst the top 40% of scoring clubs. This year they are at an extremely boring level. 

What teams have you been watching other than the Wild?


No team specifically, just whatever game is on when i'm home i'll throw on. Today I watched Ottawa and Pittsburgh, tomorrow I'll definitely be watching Wild and Avs though

That shows how much hated the Blackhawks were! the city was supporting the enemy! lol... I always make fun of people who like the wolves because they are the canucks affiliate. I always tell them they should be rooting for rockford ice hogs which are the blackhawks

Unless he wants to revise his original statement or redefine what a streak is then he doesn't have anything right now. The blackhawks streak right now is OT 1

I don't see how you can compare the two. If a team plays two games and goes into OT both of them and looses they will have 2 points. The same amount of points a team who wins one and looses one has... we wouldn't consider that team to have 2 loses would we?

It's still a loss though. If one team won than the other team lost.

When you go to NHL.com, go to standings then hover over the letters "OT" a pop-up will come up saying Overtime LOSSES

Yeah but the NHL makes a distinction between OT and L... which you said 4-5 game losing streak. Which would mean regulation losses

Haha, well I actually watched the avalanche beat the wild in overtime Kenny. All tied up. I have to admit it was much more fun to watch with a bet on the line. We could change the bet back to each game!?!?!?

That stated if any fans of sucky teams like the avs want to make avatar beys on games I am down. Remember sucky teams only. ;)
