The Zelda fan that bought Twilight Princess for Gamecube, and people who are looking for a good excuse to get a Wii now. Hew I bought my Wii last fall for Donkey Kong.

No Software title will cause any console to skyrocket? What does Call of Duty do every year?

So you bought a Wii for another title already. My point. I bet with 90 million Wii's sold that the vast vast majority of Zelda fans have already picked up a Wii especially since I bet there are very few Zelda fans that arent Nintendo fans.

Call of Duty does not cause any consoles to skyrocket. What a  hundred thousand extra consoles, maybe. That is not skyrocket.

Last year people were saying that anyone who really wanted a Wii already had one, then I, and many others, broke that belief and got a Wii.

You don't have to have a Wii already to be a Zelda fan, and Skyward Sword will likely bring in new fans too. Plus Wii got a price cut this fall, so cheaper Zelda fans now have a reason to get a Wii.

100,000 extra isn't exactly sky rocket, too bad Block Ops increased 360 sales by 46% last year (160k), and that's not considering that Kinect Adventures also pushed sales 69% the week prior (138k).

If it causes sales to double, I consider it sky rocketing....

Zelda is harder to predict because Wii has so few AAA exclusives released. true.

360 offers a slightly better online service with cross game chats (party system), and if TV turns out to be....well a good selection of channels, then thats another reason why XBL is better. However nothing to justify the expensive price tag, PSN does give what 95% of gamers ask for. well i still think there even. i don't need things not gaming related. don't need cross game chat either. i'f i'm playing a shooter like KZ2 with friends then my gameplan has already been mapped out.

i run every play my team has made everytime i play a shooter online wether there there r not. i can still talk to them while playing the game if the plan changes.

Can't wait to start seeing Wii U games. I unlocked the Wathog in Forza 4, and been looking at some of the cars in Autovista. They plan to use these models in Forza 5 and the first halo on NextBox, and wow.... Graphics are still going to see another massive jump IMO. Can't wait.

i agree, but not launch titles.

Cross game chat helps set up games. If your trying to assemble a party of 5 people to fill out a team, it's a great feature to be able to talk to your friends who are playing another game. Also if your friend is just on the dashboard, it's more streamlined to be able to talk to them without calling them on the phone, or sending them a message.

As for TV, for you it might not matter, but I don't have cable, so it might justify paying for XBL for me.

I'm most excited to see Pikmin 3 and Super Smash Bros for Wii U, I think Pikmin 3 especially, can push the hardware decently, even as an early title.

As for TV, for you it might not matter, but I don't have cable, so it might justify paying for XBL for me. well Sony will be having some type of TV thing. last i heard it would be apart of P suit. i could do with somae cable but i have very few shows i watsh aside from house.

it seems everyone has something to say about what Michael-5(M5) is saying so does that mean everyone agrees with me?

I just raise better topics to discuss then you.

I have no idea what your talking about in the first place. Cross game voice chat is great when you want to set up a game with friends who are playing another game. With PSN you have to message them to play, or call them, with XBL you just invite them to your party. It's not a big big deal though, doesn't justify the price on its own.

I want sports!!! if XBLG can do it, that makes it worth something all of a sudden.

Pikmin can look really good on Wii U because they will be modeling small stuff (like paperclips and batteries) to a high degree. Could look really cool if Nintendo works hard on the game.

scout the map and see what you can take advantage of on the map. yea sure cross game chat has its uses but when not one of your friends is online your going to call them. i like the idea of cross game chat but its not that important.

I want sports!!! if XBLG can do it, that makes it worth something all of a sudden. then all is good in thr woeld nd oeder has been restored

I was only talking about playing with friends. For Clans I guess you guess schedule play times or something? (Clearly I'm not as crazy for online as you).

Cross game chat is nice, and important, but I think you agree with me, not so important to justify the price of XBL.

*Evil Eyes* How do you not know Pikmin? Look at my avatar!!!

*Evil Eyes* How do you not know Pikmin? Look at my avatar!!! only from SSBB. other then that i've never play'd a pikmin game. but now i'm interested.

If it causes sales to double, I consider it sky rocketing....

Last year the week that Black Ops came out:
360 jumped 44% - 160K
Wii jumped 46% - 150K (Black  Ops for Wii was ranked 18th in sales that week selling 90K)
PS3 jumped 21% - 65K

I supposed that for the 360 and PS3 that was all Black Ops and nothing about it was seasonal or in the case of the 360 continued boost from Kinect launch.  No the bumps were because of seasonal factors, Kinect launch factors, and a new high profile game.  I never stated that everyone that wants a Wii has already purchased one. I said it is highly likely that such a prominent Nintendo franchise beloved by the Nintendo faithful will be overwhelmingly purchased by people that already have a Wii.  Will the Wii bump? Sure. Will it have meaningful effect to change the direction this holiday sales season will head? Very unlikely.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

With US and EMEAA and no Japan numbers the PS3 lead is now at 1.58M. The 360 now has to outsell the PS3 by 198k to tie with the PS3.

Japan would almost surely bring the lead up to 1.6M and with that in mind, the 360 has to outsell the PS3 by over 200k per week every week till the end of the year.
