we won't know anything until punters can buy it,it will be a brave man who will predict what happens with next gen consoles, they will all sell but who sells the most we will have to wait and see

GTFO.

Not particularly. When EA actually took the time for some damn effort on the Wii (and here i'm mostly thinking of Tiger Woods), you generally saw both parties benefit. If EA can take advantage of both the Wii U's capabilities, and put the actual effort into the Wii U games as they saw on the HD consoles, we could see something mutually beneficial crop up again.
Me, i'm still wondering what the significance was of EA's vague speech at the Nintendo keynote regarding Wii U's online capabilities.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
EA's support for Nintendo is actually very important.
First of all, look at the sports titles. Most recently, FIFA 2012 released to high sales and 98% of them were not attributed to a Nintendo console. By having an HD system, Wii-U is in position to get the 500k+ sales debuts of Madden & FIFA.
Having a sports userbase that supportive will also have the effect of boosting Take-Two's franchise sales as well (NBA2Ks, NHLs, etc). The Wii Ultra can be the viable place for HD sports games were the Wii was not. Later into a console's life, these yearly iterations help keep the console in consumer focus.
I am going by assumption, but with the mindset of what worked with the last console (Wii), EA may continue at least initially, to produce casual content that may or may not take off in addition to their hit HD games. This is probably the most important Western company to get support from, and Nintendo seems to have it attained.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
EA is one of the bigger companies that pretty much goes on all platforms. I don't think they would say anything bad about a new system coming out.
I have been hearing a lot of praise so far with the Wii U, which is always a good thing.
Facts EA, we want facts.
Words mean anything unless accompanied by facts. THQ has talked about 2 games (Darksiders2 and Metro: Last Light), Sega has Aliens: Colonial Marines, even Ubisoft has announced Killer Freaks and has talked about Assassins Creed for WiiU, etc. Which games have EA announced?
Please excuse my bad English.

I mean, a guy from EA takes the stage to talks about the Wii U: "Imagine games like Madden with the new controller, imagine games like Battlefield in a Nintendo console with graphics in HD"
Seriously, don't you understand? The have a big game for Wii U: 'Imagine EA Games'
For sure Ubisoft is making their best games for Wii U and not let EA to win this battle!

EA seems to understand what Nintendo is doing with the Wii U, I hope more 3rd party publishers get involve as well and push this console.

How did Kinect fail? Its been about a year and its sold 10 million units. They may have been no major software releases (which is maybe where it fails) but 10 million units sold is hardly a failure. I don't think the 360 itself sold that many in it first year.
