I love sony,but that commercial sucked. to michael. okay,what???? Then there going to throw in a bunch of iconic characters just for the sake of it. It felt like a commerical made for fanboys,rather then a commerical that tries to get people to buy a ps3. If I never had a playstation console,I'd be like who are all of those characters? I'm sorry,but I just did'nt like it.

that i think what was the purpose of this commercial, to make non-PS gamers a bit curious about the exclusive games in PS3 software library. They cannot explain all these games stories in a 30 second commercial. so this was just to see if they get curious and try to know more and talk more.. If this people make other non-gamers talking about PS3 than it itself is the goal achieved.

Just my point of view.
