Forums - Nintendo - RE: Revelations European release date announced - Before America and published by Nintendo?

Tagged games:

All this goes to prove that Nintendo gave Capcom an open wallet in order to get exclusive rights on so many games. Its ultimately a good thing, just look at the sales of Capcom games so far on 3DS, and it will hopefully motivate other 3rd parties to get their finger out of their ass.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

See, you should blame Nintendo for not offering to publish Megaman Legends 3.

In Capcom, they wanted Inafune out so they can cut Megaman forever, no 11 announced yet, no?

But i'm glad for this, Italy goes for once in a while to get a great game before USA. And, i just checked, TBA date for Japan.

Italian Homer says: MITICO!

Why can't Capcom publish it in Europe? That's just lazy.

They have a profit agreement with Nintendo from 2009, remember the campaign for Monster Hunter 3? Nintendo did that.

While MH needed it, RE is already big in the west... Are they publishing this in order to keep Capcom making games on their platform? AHA

Maybe its to ensure that the Vita doesn't get a hold in Europe when they decide to port to Vita.
