This is why i love sports because of the joy it harmony it can bring to the human heart.

It also can bring out the worse.  Notice Ndamukong Suh cheaply stomping on player or about 1 billion more instances I can bring up.  Sports are fun to play but I have become more unattached to professional sports as the years go by.  I would say the whole free agents and not sticking to a team gets me more than anything.  Sure I understand there is a need for free agents but it was hell of a lot easier back in the day to know who was on your team since there were less trades.  Also, I'd argue that obsession with sports can lead to major distractions of other important events.  Sports are top news (especially Super Bowl) when there is so much more going on this planet than a stupid game.  I found that it is just too frustrating rooting for your team during the down years.  It just seems pointless and retarded.  I basically gave up on college football last year due to Texas Tech sucking.

Well every aspect of life has it's good and bad. To be honest, I was not into sports for about fthree years because I had no cable and was in college and working. Now I just got back into sports because I had a long time of nothing, but serious study, work, some partying, working out and videogames. Now that I just work I feel like I wanted to add more variety and I missed sports. There are a ton of things more important than sports, but at the same time I believe the key to a good life is variety. Free agency does make it seem like youo almost have a new team every year in football so it makes it annoying not knowing the players all the time.  In all, getting bak to it beoing a waste of time I disagree because we all need distractions from the serious reality. It may appear as if all I care about is sports right now, but that is far from the truth the site has become slow and dull so I just do not post on much more than sports.

i love sport, its live, actually happening and humans almost getting to perfection at top level sport, they take a lot of stick from the media and people and you sometimes wonder if people really know what you have to do to be a top sportsman the way they go on so blase

just looking at the sky schedules,i thought i might miss the games as i have my mothers birthday sunday but baltimore v new england looks liek it is on about 8:30pm sunday night over here,so a good time

what is the pro bowl then is it a best of team between the conferences who didn't make the last 4 or what as its on the sky schedule a week before the super bowl

The Pro Bowl is an all-star game between the AFC and NFC. Players are voted for by fans, coaches and NFL analysts or something like that. I think it is between these three groups, although they may not be weighed evenly.

Anyway, it's not really a game to watch, because the gameplan and plays have to be pretty basic due to the players all coming from different teams. It's more of an opportunity to see all the best players in one place with a lot of interviews. There's more focus on the interviews than the actual game which really says it all.

right i thought it would be like that, its the media, pros and supporters players of the year type thing,

it must  have an exhibition feel before the big night as liek you say american football is hardly something you rock up and just play, putting your body on the line for nothing can't be that appealing at the end of a tough season especially when you could be in the vip nightclub pool with a bevvy of beauties

I'm glad the fans who made the trip acted well. Thanks for posting chocoloco.

You are right a variety is needed.  I was mainly in a shitty mood at the time of my post and I wasn't inferring any of what I said directly at you.  I was merely venting.  There are a ton of people that let sports influence them too much (such as a team winning or losing).  Take me for instance....  Back during the Mike Leach days at Texas Tech I was a die hard fan (considering I was going to Tech also around that time).  I would seriously get way too worked up about losing to such hated teams like aTm (luckily Leach was able to beat them almost all the time).  It got the point with having crappy Tuberville the past two season where it is just terrible to watch.  To root for a shitty team just isn't any fun.  I am just glad to not be so obsessed about any sport team now.  I am the type of person in sports (playing or watching) and video games that expects to win.  I am perhaps too competitive.

I'm going with the Patriots and the Giants. With the Pats winning the Superbowl.
