But what it comes down to is that I want the Broncos to lose this game, so if I pick them, it's going to happen. I am willing to sacrifice my personal record for the greater good. There was only one week this season when I picked the Broncos (against the Chiefs) and they let me down.

I thought you had the worst record of all the predictors in terms of win percentage and you lost to my coin tosses (willed by the power of Tebow).

The cheese brains are going home early as they are just too cocky for their own good. Brees is the better quarterback and San Frans defense will destroy that offense if the packers can even beat super clutch Eli Manning.

I can't believe no-one is taking the Giants over the Packers...

The Giants are the NFC team to beat right now!

And the Broncos will win !!!!!!!!!!

The Giants are lucky to be in the playoffs. I would pick every other NFC team over the Giants.

Except that the Pats defense can not even defend the run so the Broncos might not even need to throw the ball as much as they needed against the Steelers...

They just need to play the same game they played against the Pats 3 weeks ago and stop fumbling the ball every possession in the second quarter..

The Broncos gained over 150 yards rushing against the Pats in the first quarter in the last game...

If the Pats make adjustment, Tiimie will throw the ball, if not, the Broncos will run all over them...

The real question for that game is going to be wether the Broncos can put more pressure on Brady than last time without keeping the Pats TE wide open ( every single time the Broncos blitzed 3 weesk ago, Hernandez was running wide open..)...

Ummm what?

McGahee only had 70 yards rushing against the Pats for that whole game.

The Patriots are ranked 17th in run defense, higher than the Broncos. Also while the Pats defense has been attrocious in giving up yards they are ranked 15th in points allowed per a game (again higher than the Broncos).

A number of key defensive players that have been out for the whole season due to injuries are finally coming back for the playoffs including Chung our safety and Mayo our Linebacker.

Finally do you honestly think that the Broncos are going to be running the ball when they fall back by 2 touhdowns to Tom Brady, I seriously doubt it. Not to mention the Broncos have absolutely no answers for either Hernandez or Gronk.

McGahee ran for 70 yards, Tebow for 93, Lance Ball for 64, Johnson for 25.

That's 252 yards and most of that was in the first quarter.

What? Surely, that's a lie. So I tallied up all the regular season predictions and put them in order of win percentage.

Name Rounds played Record Win Percentage Best Week Worst Week
Ljigga 7 78-32 .709 11-3/13-3 10-6 (twice)
outlawauron 4 44-20 .688 14-2 8-8
Mendicate Bias 3 33-15 .687 14-2 8-8
amp316 8 82-44 .651 14-2 7-9
chocoloco 8 80-46 .637 14-2 7-7/8-8
zuvuyeay 6 61-35 .635 13-3 6-10
superchunk 6 59-35 .628 14-2 6-10
ssliasil 1 10-6 .625 10-6 10-6
RolStoppable 9 82-58 .586 11-5 (twice) 7-9
IamAwesome 4 34-30 .531 12-4 6-10

So there you have it, straight in your face. By the way, outlawauron is only ahead due to the more favorable rounding of the last digit.

...

What the hell? I can't be this bad! Must spin the results. Um...

As you can see, my record wasn't boosted by any dumb luck weeks, because my best week is only 11-5. I had eight positive weeks, the most of any predictor. Also, the NFL conspired against me, especially if it came to games the Broncos played in.

What else? Mendicate Bias said that I have gotten better over the course of the season, so let's take a look at the table for the final five weeks, excluding people who didn't make predictions in all five weeks.

Name Record Win Percentage Best Week Worst Week
Ljigga 56-24 .700 13-3 10-6 (twice)
zuvuveay 55-25 .688 13-3 9-7
chocoloco 50-30 .625 12-4 8-8
RolStoppable 50-30 .625 11-5 (twice) 9-7 (twice)
superchunk 49-31 .613 14-2 6-10
amp316 47-33 .588 12-4 7-9

Not too shabby, although it's still quite embarrassing to be behind zuvuveay who makes coin tosses for some (or most, or all) of his predictions.

Oh and amp316 had a late season collapse, just like the Bears..

Be that as it may. your hugely improved picking still puts you only three games ahead of me in that period.  Furthermore, the Bears didn't collapse.  Most of their key players were injured, and their former (thankfully former) general manger believed that backups weren't necessary.

Oh, and amp316 had a late season collapse just like the Bears.

I sincerely doubt Zuvu flips on the majority of the games because his record when then be a lot closer to .500. And any other season I play my score will no longer reflect the two weeks I did nothing, but coin tosses. But it is all goo here , i have quite a bit of cheer.

So what do you think of Eli? He looked really strong against the Packers last game and can threw better than aaron rodgers. The Jets have a better rushing game and I think they will be tough to handle.
