Hmmm. Interesting. I was under the impression that all of Europe did not have an interest in American football. 49ers all the way!!!! And then the Titans......maybe next year :(

Tebow has to have divine intervention. Why else would Bears to everything in their power to not let the clock run out/down so late in the 4th quarter and then couple that with a loss in OT even though you got the ball first.

Three close losses for the injured Bears where they could of had wins.

Ugh ... desperately need to win 2 of last 3 games to even have a chance at a wildcard spot.

VGC NFL week 4

VGC ODD CONFERENCE

TEAM RECORD OW PLD YEAR
AMP 7-1 1 4 07
CHOCO 4-2   4 09
ROL 1-4   4 07
OUTLA 1-1   1 07

VGC EVEN CONFERENCE

TEAM RECORD OW PLD YEAR
LJIGGA 5-2 1 3 10
ZUVU 1-2   2 08
SUPCK 0-2   2 06
IAMA 0-1   1 10

what do you think about that, exciting stuff hey, with 5 more rounds of picking left there are plenty of points to play for,if you happen to pick a clean sweep you get 5 points, so 3 pts an OW,2pts a tied win,1pt a second, i think it rewards good picking

now its the winning part of your record that matters as we have all played diifferent amounts, then OW,PLD and year

it is the two winners and two wild cards that will pick a team of the last four, now i can foresee some cheating and copying of predictions when we get to the play offs,so you might have to pm me or someone who is out of the running if anyone is actually worried or cares at the time,so as of right now amp, choco, ligga and rol would be picking for the VGC super bowl

anyway i'm off to watch some giants and dallas and go to bed,i will deal with any questions or mistakes on the morrow, have a pleasant night or day

The system seems better more like how they award points in hockey/NHL and considering we started late and there are not as many weeks to score it seems like a better option. I plan on copying rol's picks so he better you better watch out son.

Good week by outlaw being the only one to go for Philly paid off. Seems it does pay to gamble sometimes.

Finally, I have to say I forgot to say I am really happy for Gary Kubiak and Houstan for finally making the playoffs. Kubiak was the offensive coordinator during most of Elway's later years in Denver and I still wish him the best.

good second half i watched last night the giants pulled it off at the end

I was pretty shocked that they came back after being down 12 points. Now everyone in Dallas are going to continue to blame Romo for being a two headed quarterback that does nothing, but sleep with hot celebrities. Definantly the a great game all the way through.

haha, well i don't know about these things and i am no expert but from the second half which i saw, dallas looked like they could have easily won the game, they both missed some TD chances,

i thought he would get the fieldgoal at the end,did he have to take it twice i must have missed something,i didn't know if they were showing an earlier kick or did he have to take it twice and if so why

The giants coach finally got icing the kicker/calling time out before the play to work, the first kick was perfect, but after that the Giants guy must have known where to expect the next kick to come flying up so he was able to jump and place himself in a good place to block the field goal. Statistically icing the kicker does not work most of the time, but I would say in this case it won the game for the giants.

VGC NFL week 4

VGC ODD CONFERENCE

TEAM RECORD OW PLD LOL YEAR
AMP 7-1 1 4   07
CHOCO 4-3   4 1 09
ROL 1-5   4 1 07
OUTLA 1-1   1   07

VGC EVEN CONFERENCE

TEAM RECORD OW PLD LOL YEAR
LJIGGA 5-2 1 3   10
ZUVU 1-3   2 1 08
SUPCK 0-2   2   06
IAMA 0-2   1 1 10

winning record : ow = 3pt , tw = 2pt , sp = 1pt            losing record : L = 1pt , lol = 2pt

right,i had a another memo from the scoring authorities and they have brought in the LOL which is 2 points for coming outright last, sorry about that

now the tie breakers are PLD,OW,LOL,YEAR so for example if you have played the same amount of games your win/loss record is what counts first and if you have the same winning record but have played a different amount of games your PLD is what counts first not your losses, the higher your PLD the better, capice, it rewards the committed

this should allow for even more excitement, i understand it might not seem fair on some people but have applied the rules to all rounds of picking, anyway see how that goes,i will update week 5 when the results come in,need to see who is last aswell as first

I'ts over bro.  Wait 'til next year.  They need to win all three now and that wouldn't guarantee anything.

I am so upset that I'm not doing my Monday morning stuff.  It's too late to do anyway since  it's already the afternoon.

Well done outlaw.  Well done.

Just a little rant.

I am not trying to take anything away from the splendid play of Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, or Eli Manning but come on... All of them are on pace to throw for over 5,000 yards?!! Give me a break! I think only two of three guys have done it in the history of the game and now three might in one year? It's because the rules have changed and the NFL is turning into a sissy league that protects QBs. It's getting to the point where we have to put red shirts on them so the defenders know not to hit them. There was a play that I watched yesterday where Lance Briggs came in (not late) and bumped Tebow on the head with his shoulder. There was no upward motion where he was trying to knock him out. No helmet to helmet. None of that. It get's flagged for 15 yards! What's Briggs supposed to do? Wait behind the line of scrimmage until Tebow gets beyond it to hit him? Tim Tebow is a relatively large man weighing in at around 240 lbs. Is a two hand push supposed to bring him down? My point is, that guys are throwing for a ridiculous amount of yards because the rules have changed. It seems that about 90% of the hard hits on QBs get flagged and defenders realize this and are playing differently. This is what's leading to guys throwing for 5,000 yards and changing the NFL into a game of NFL Blitz. What's even more disgusting is that now WRs are getting treated like little girls too. Every time a helmet touches a helmet (inadvertently or not) it's 15 yards and usually a fine. When a guy leads forward to make a tackle with his shoulder (this is how it's taught), his head comes before the shoulder. Sometimes when two guys are moving at a million miles an hour, heads collide. Is a defensive back supposed to try to tackle with his chest now? Of course not. That is impossible. On the other hand, five guys can nail a RB on the same play helmet to helmet and that's allowed. Wise up NFL! Your game is physical and that's how it's supposed to be. QBs and WRs play the same sport as everyone else and don't deserve preferential treatment. Should guys be punished for trying to intentionally trying to hurt someone? Of course. But defensive players should also be allowed to hit a QB or a WR hard. That's part of the game and to be honest, it's very fun to watch.

End of rant. Not sorry for the wall of text.
