Yeah, I'll try Tekken Advance. Ultimate Mortal Kombat on the DS seems to have scored quite well too.

On the advance King of Fighters EX2 howling blood is the best in my opinion, but hard to find
Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival and Alpha 3 are also both great as well and easy to find so they're probably the best option,
Avoid guilty gear both ds and advance and king of fighters ex neo blood, both of the advance games use the same slow, clunky engine and dust strikes plays poorly as well

Jump Superstars is only in Japan. Luckily the DS isn't region-locked, so you can import.
Guilty Gear Accent Core is on the Wii, although you'd better grab a Classic Controller, it definitely wasn't designed for the Wiimote.

Fire Pro Wrestling is the deepest and most complicated wrestling games EVAR. But daaang is it good.
Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival...X...2...? Is also a great game.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 suffered a bit from the GBA port, but it's still good nontheless.
