Which is why I rely on the few friends I have. I have been playing some Gran Turismo (3 and 5 at different friends) a little recently. Good news, but I can't help feeling that playing the 2 DS Zelda games might damage your opinion of the franchise, they are nowhere IMO up to the standard of other games in the franchise such as Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

And as you seem to be into JRPGs, I would highly recommend these 3 non pokemon RPGs:

The World Ends With You

Final Fantasy Tactics A2

Dragon Quest IX

plus these ports/remakes: Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy IV/Dragon Quest IV-VI (assuming that you haven't played them already)

I got a launch PS1 that suffered overheating issues right after the warranty ran out. I just never had a console die barely after a year and be forced to pay money to fix it. The way Sony customer service handled me left a strong distaste for the Sony brand. The two times II called Nintendo customer service I get top notch and friendly service (DS I bought had a cracked bottom screen straight out of the box and got to send it in for free replacement, and the other was about Wii Sports not loading and I sent an email right after I got off the phone saying that I deserved a free copy and about 5-10 mins after sending the email I got a call back saying they would send me another copy free). Anyways, there are good games on all systems but I only prefer to buy Nintendo.
