| DarkCronos said: you guys are lucky to live in america. in europe gas prices are way higher. the cheapest i can find around my area is 1.558 €/liter but the majority of gas stations are already over 1.600 €. with the conversion € - > $ and liters -> gallon it should be about 8$ /gallon |
Luck has nothing to do with it.
Europeon gas is so expensive because of Pro-enviroment laws.
Like for example the German tax on gas is like $1.70 per Litre... which is like $6.29 per Galon.
The US Federal Gas tax is like... $0.18 cents a galon.
So really, if anything, the US is probably getting ripped off since taxes removed, our gas is more expensive!

Actually that's more like $3.26 a gallon. There are like... 3.8 Litres in a gallon.

And then we'll just slap on Natural Gas converters for fairly cheap, and run off Natural Gas until the renwables are fully up to snuff.

Should have done my research on that one! Never mind Puerto Rico, you guys are just so so with gas prices. Shoot! We have liters of coke in America, I know what it is. Even a 2 liter is smaller than a gallon. Wow! |
Yeah, you wouldn't think it when you sit a 2 liter next to a gallon of milk but it is. I'd guess due to the way the bottles are made.
also anyone in the US looking to save a bit of money should try www.gasbuddy.com

depends where you go in Australia, some places is high and some is low, where i go, its $1.33 a litre. Petrol is getting expensive these days.

Yeah it's crazy. I didn't think I would see it under $3.00 again but it is close.
$3.24 to $3.30 here in south jersey. About $75 bucks every two weeks to fill up my truck. Probably my favorite part of owning a vehicle is buying gas.
