Well basically, just imagine you're driving a little buzzed (slightly drunk), and you run two kids over. One is dead. The other is critically wounded but still conscious..
Some notes:

- If you leave the living kid, he WILL die.
- If you save the living kid, you WILL go to jail for 10-15 years mininum. Possibly ruining your life.
- You're phone is dead. You can't call anyone.
- You can't just toss the kid in front of the hospital & remain anonymous. The hospital has cameras & so do all buildings around it.
- There is no avoiding this. You have to make this decision.

So, what will you do? BE HONEST!

Well, there's obviously nothing you can do for the dead kid--and confessing will not miraculously bring him back to life--so call the police anonymously. For the other kid, spread a tarp, or something that can keep his blood from getting smeared all over you car, and drive close enough to the hospital that the kid can be retrieved easily, but not too close that you begin to show up on cameras. If you feel really horrible about it, you could confess, but it doesn't actually change anything; one kid is still dead and the other is still in critical condition. I expect the guilt will eat away at you for a while...

You can't save the kid & remain hidden. The hospital is in the middle of the city. Getting within proximity to the hospital will cause you to be seen by a camera by some other building.

The cops should get there faster then I could get him to a hospital.

They should, but the police could be incompetent. Also, why would you kill yourself?

EDIT: Better yet, imagine your phone is dead. That's not the point anyway. Just imagine you hav to make a choice between your freedom and someone else's life

The reason why almost no one will want to play by the rules is because we all feel bad due to the fact that, given that exact situation, almost all of us WOULD drive away.

I would drive away. And I'd feel like shit about it for the rest of my life probably. Unless I shortly after went to a tropical island and was surrounded by a bunch of really hot babes who were all over me.

I'm not used to sounding this evil. :(
