Actually they have a pretty damn good ICBM program last time I checked ;) I know that they are no serious threat to the US but they could probably smugle in a nuclear bomb on US or US ally soil ;)

No, the US needs to stop all these wars, nation building, etc. and spend the money on reducing debt.

I personally don't see a reason for the U.S. to be in Pakistan at all especially if they don't want us in there. The U.S. can't be the humanitarian nation/bully police of the world all the time, especially when we ourselves have the deficits we have right now.

Yeah... blame Obama. It's actually one of the things he was bragging about a while ago. How he greatly stepped up raids in Pakistan in other countries against terrorists without Pakistan's permission.  Showing he was more "anti-terror" then Bush since Bush really wasn't all about compromising allies autonomy.

That is afterall how he got Osama bin Laden.  Flew in a bunch of US troops into Pakistan without telling Pakistan then rushing for the border before anyone could get there.

that's just one of the points the usa isn't the most loved country of this planet. it's like your neighbour would go in your garden everytime he wants without asking because he can (and without you want it) -> only bad people do this.

US has no reason send troops to any country

Though I would state the people saying the US has NO reason to do it are being pretty ignorant.

There is plenty of reason to do it... it's not like Obama is going "Hey lets send a bunch of troops and drones into Pakistan for the hell of it."

They're sending troops in to take out militants that openly attack and make plans to attack the US and often Pakistan.

The question is should US security trump Pakistani sovereignty when Pakistan's responses appear to be slow and may even involve tipping off said groups before security teams arrive.

I'd say "Not really except in EXTREME cases" and as such the mass escelation by Obama is ridiculuous.  (I believe an administartion official is quoted as bragging that they've had more drone attacks in pakistan then the entire Bush presidency).

To say they have no reason to though is just.... dumb.
