people are bound to get buthurt when most of their games made on their fav console are made by 3rd parties. i mean they don't own the games so they can end up on any console.

the advantage Nintendo will always have is that they have the possibilities to bring some of the biggest games on to their platforms if they want to plus they have their own big games as well!

Your talking like only Nintendo have a first party line-up lol.

No I’m talking about the size of the games they have. They sell more than what Sony first party games do plus they move more hardware units as well

"when most of their games made on their fav console are made by 3rd parties" that isnt sales related, beside, how do you know that the favorite games of a PS360 fan is made by 3rd party?

"the advantage Nintendo will always have is that they have the possibilities to bring some of the biggest games on to their platforms" You just talk about how 3rd party game is bound to make fan butthurt, beside, how does Sony and Microsoft doesnt have this exact same advantage?

So if you meant that "No I’m talking about the size of the games they have. They sell more than what Sony first party games do plus they move more hardware units as well " that leave only "they have their own big games" that is related to your point.

I didn’t have 360 in mind, what, they have Halo, Gears of War that sells more than 6-12m? Forza that sells about 4m or so? Not sure about that one.

Well I based “the favourite games” on how well 3rd party games sell so if they sell more than 1rst party games that means more people favour them over the other.

As I said the advantage lies in that Nintendo has big games plus the possibility to have big third party games as well. So if you have games that sell 6+, 10+, 20+ plus the games that come from 3rd parties the advantage is clear.

How many Sony 1st party games sell more than 3m or even get close to 5m? their games might be big with ratings but not with sails

so much hype for an extremely average game.... for may of you wondering this is Japan's Call of Duty. There is nothing too special about it.

So i take it you would rather play COD than Monster hunter??    -____-

I don't know where in my previous post i mentiioned i would play cod over moh but Probably yes i would (mostly because everyone in school is crazy about it). I would also play other games over monster hunter like Phantasy Star, WOW, etc.

I'd play MH over Phantasy Star, MH's more challenging and has higher skill requirement and I dig that. I'm completely done with WoW now so uh.... I guess that includes over WoW too. Firefall though, I'd play Firefall with people over MH any day.

MH's producer had this to say about the 3DS in a JP newspaper:

"3DS to convey a world of perfect gaming.
Hopes to succeed in global markets."

"and emphasize cooperation with Nintendo."

So I wouldn't expect MH Vita anytime soon.

Soriku ... what would you Xxpect CAPCOM to say? Stop being naive. When you have a exclusive deal with a company that you both will benefiting from ( IE CAPCOM -free marketing NINTENDO big exclusive ) your not suppose show indication that it will end up elsewhere eventually . remember Vesperia?

You mean like how SE and Nintendo are doing the same thing with DQ which is still Nintendo exclusive...or MH3 being Nintendo exclusive as well (MHP3 isn't the same as MH3/MH3G. And now MH4 is on the 3DS exclusively.)?

Vesperia is a different case.

This CAPCOM! do you reall think CAPCOM will actually leave the SONY handheld gang behind? c'mon CAPCOM wants to expand monster not restrict it again. DQ being xxclusive is Hori's choice. DQ always appears on the most successful consoles this gen that happens to be Wii/DS...thats just DQ tradition.

I think they prolly have the marketing deal again with the west side of things.

i dont really care anymore. these days the focus is more on making money then on making good games

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Like I said, I understand the "nintendo has big games" argument, but why add "plus the possibility to have big third party games" when they obviously all have this advantage. Particularly after eluding to the fact that 3rd party games on Sony/Microsoft platforms are bound to make fans butthurt. Beside, Sony has a lot of first party games too, either your talking about sales or quality. Surely sales arent as high as some Nintendo first party, I agree. Personnaly, I prefer more new IPs so it doesnt matter to me ; ).

We'll see how long it stays off of Vita when Vita comes along and whips the 3DS' ass

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Dude when they have their strong 1rst party games plus the 3rd parties that is when they have the advantage! Lol

The other two do not have the advantage because they do not have big IPs like Nintendoes and yes of course I am talking sales here why ells would I mention the millions in my post?

So if they lose the 3rd party exclusives or they are more spread out people don’t have to buy more than one consoles unless they want the exclusives.

The only reason I bought a 360 was for games like Dead Space, Orange box, portal 2, and some other games that never came to Wii

I’m never said Sony doesn’t have many 1st party games they absolutely do but they are not as strong as 3rd party games on it and not a lot of them even move consoles

It feels like I am explaining the same thing over and over but in different ways so I won’t reply after this post.

cheers!

I did agree all the time that Nintendo has big first party games in regard to sales. I wasnt the one posting "people are bound to get buthurt when most of their games made on their fav console are made by 3rd parties."

cheers!

I'm really tired of hearing about MH. Yes it is on 3DS. It will be on Vita at some point with a rehashed version. Do we really need to drag this out in 300 threads?

You are right but unfortunately that's nature of VGChartz.
