Kinda funny how people lost the ability to order the game. As for me I'll wait for the localization.

I'd happily order it if I could but I have enough on my plate at the moment. Xenoblade is the last game I'm importing this year. Maybe I'll be like you and wait for the localization. Hopefully we get an announcement for a western release by new years.

@MasterVG It's actually at 600k shipped now.

Either way, it's impressive. I would import it, but there are two problems. My Japanese is pretty bad right now (I studied it in college, but I've been out of school for 6 years now and haven't kept up with the language) and I don't have a PS3 right now (mine got YLOD a month or so ago). Also, there are enough games out or coming out in English that I want before spending money on a game that I probably won't be able to understand completely.

Is the game really sold out at many places? I haven't been to any actual stores since it released. Amazon JP won't be getting more stock until Thursday, but I just checked three of the big Electronic Stores (Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera, and Yamada Denki) online, and they all had the game in stock. Those are the stores that are always showing up in pictures with long lines of people waiting to buy something new.

Oh and Yodobashi also has a link on their page to let you check if the actual stores have stock of something as well and ALL of the stores have the game in stock...

well hopefully namco learned their lesson that tales game + sony platform= good sales. Glad they didnt do another TOV stunt

That's pretty impressive, not sure if it can reach a million though since it's an amazingly front loaded series.

Who expects a million? O.o

It will probably end up with around 700k-750k.

That's a myth perpetuated by VGC's undertracking of Vesperia. It's not at 350k, it crossed 400k back in December and was at 420k in July before it got a re-release recently. It's probably doubled its first week by now.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

I'm not sure if the good sales in Japan increase or decrease the chances of localization. I'm guessing the decision to localize all depends on if Namco gets the return they want on Tales of Graces.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
