this doesn't make any sense.
it would seem like a good idea to port it before crysis 2.
But crysis 2 really didn't sell well for a mega-shooter it seemed like it was trying to be... particularly one xbox.
Maybe it's easy for them to port. Because they can just use the same tools they used for Crysis 2.
I did like crysis 2... it was better than the first one because the second half of the first one really sucked. But not as good as warhead.
Which brings me to the question. Why don't they bundle warhead with this?
They should really get rid of aliens in this series. Because whenever they appear this game gets a lot worse.
looks pretty good. Tho i wonder when it comes out. Ya think EA wouldnt put in the same month as BF3.

Needs moar details. And gameplay that's easier to follow to pick up moar details. Looked pretty decent though.

It looks good, but not that good. OT: Makes no sense to release this now, but I guess they're really tying to turn this into an important franchise. |
I suppose it all depends on what is technically impressive for people.
Theres not a single console game so far that technically matches the PC Crysis at all. IMO.
Many wanted to see if this could be done. I guess the answers are here now. With improved lighting.
CryEngine is attempting to do much more than other console engines, which may at times result in some lesser textures here annd there. But the engine is working to a much bigger variable.
Many claimed Crysis 2 wasnt that open or choice driven which is why it worked and why Crysis 1 wouldnt work.
Well if the game stays intact as it was on PC, then this is an absolute huge technical feat. And impressive to see the least.
Still everyone has there opinions. And noones wrong if they are talking about what they see with their eyes. But certainly technically very little if any on console can technically touch what this game will be pushing numbers wise.

UPDATE: Crytek boss Cevat Yerli has confirmed that Crysis will launch as a PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade title.
"For many years people were asking, can you do Crysis 1 on consoles?" he told GameTrailers. "We have been secretly working on that for a while. It's a digital download only. It looks just awesome, I believe."
ORIGINAL STORY: Sci-fi first-person shooter Crysis launches on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next month.
The game, which first launched on PC in 2007, is described as "remastered" in its debut GameTrailers exclusive video.
It has "all new lighting", "all new effects" and "all new Nanosuit controls".
Eurogamer's Crysis review shot a 9/10. "This is a game that feels supremely engineered, like a precision machine, or a German automobile," Jim Rossignol wrote.
