Pause week after boosts and before sales start rising again. Many are down both in HW and SW and those that are up in HW are down in SW and vice versa (XB360 HW up, PS3, DS, PSP SW up). 3DS has the biggest drop both in HW and SW. PS3 first despite the second biggest HW drop, but it won't reach 200k WW. And yes, grats to Deus Ex.

Nah, America's more into Nintendo and Europe's more ino Sony, that's why.

 

OT: Quite a drop for PS3, it's the only region were it isn't up again, but the most important one for Sony. It'll still do 188k WW, not bad.

3DS drops again and it's not doing too hot in EMEAA.

Everything else as expected. SW numbers low.

Xenoblade held pretty well

On the other side, those 3DS numbers are pretty bad, only SW could help now.

America is more into Nintendo's 3D games than the rest of the world. Split between Japan/America/Europe in millions (approximately):

Nintendo 64: 5/21/6. Gamecube: 4/12/5.

Based on this, America will be the region where the 3DS will suffer the lowest drop in lifetime sales percentage-wise when compared to the DS.

I agree that America will see the lowest drop, though the difference between regions won't be as huge as with GC/N64 (not saying you argue that).

The pattern is clear with home consoles, but it doesn't mean 3DS will meet the same fate, considering it's a handheld, even if you think of it as a portable GC/N64.

After all, NES and SNES weren't so successful in Europe either, but their portable 'counterparts' (GB and GBA) did well. That may be the case with 3DS.

hey guys
