i actually think the 360 price drop may have a bigger impact than the ps3 price drop in NA

So far this is only in Portugal and only a limited offer. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if MS lowered the price of the X360 WW in the next weeks.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

MS plan all along. Let the ps3 have a few good weeks, then when it starts to slow down...SKADOOSH!! Huge price drop from MS to secure the rest of the year. Or I could be wrong, but that's my prediction.

if its just 50 euors, then its not that big of a drop price wise

Well, here in Portugal those kind of timed promotions by Microsoft are common, given that it's way behind the Wii and PS3 in terms of sales.

Game and Fnac usually have timed drops of 50€ or so when it comes close to the holiday season, plus there's tons of deals from other stores such as Vobis, Jumbo Box and so on at varied intervals.

So this is actually not news worthy, at least not for Portugal.
