$392,261,000 Worldwide and
$243,061,000 Domestic is pretty good. But I still doubt it will surpass The Dark Knight.

It will surpass TDK WW but probably not in USA. Perhaps 450-500m in USA and 500-600m overseas

Can you smell it?

unofficial bet then. We already have another one. So sub $1b for you?

I actually thought.

I win: If TDKR has a smaller WW gross then TDK

You win: the other way around.

@Spurge

$100 Million second weekend was out the moment we knew what its OW was (160 Million)

It was not going drop a mere 37% from it's first weekend to the next.

$80 Million was the most sensible guess for Weekend 2, but it seems fate wants to be unfair with this movie.

Olympics had an effect, but can't be that much.

TDK also had to face olympics in its 3rd or 4th weekend, it dropped 32% in that weekend compared to the last.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

OK, but I only said sub 1B because TDK did almost exactly 1B

OK if I win you will call me Commander for a month.

I was right about The Watch its going to bomb and make less then $12 million its opening weekend. TDKR could have did better on Friday but I think it has a decent change to be the #1 movie next weekend also, because the remake of Total Recall doesn't look like its going to be that good. On the plus side for TDKR rises the overseas numbers continue to look better its now made over $175 million overseas.

The Worldwide total is at $419,161,000 now.

Go Intouchables!

The highest grossing foreign language movie of all time.  I wonder if their is a foreign movie in production or coming out soon that can even come close to those numbers $356,369,898 million so far and its still will get a slight boot from its US run.  Also I'm sure their will be a US remake a couple of years from now.

Is The Intouchables an academy award worth flick? If so, then they should wait for America until February of 2013.

They could rerelease a dubbed version in Februray but I'm sure it will be out on Blu-Ray/DVD a long time before that.  I'n guessing it will be released sometime in October or November you can already buy the region 2 version on amazon.
