Edge of tomorrow is great movie. I saw it yesterday in the chinese Theatre, too bad its struggeling right now just 10mil domestic


It's even worse now that the preliminary domestic weekend numbers are in since it couldn't even come in second place.  Maleficent pulled ahead with its Saturday and Sunday numbers.  At least its doing somewhat better overseas since its already made over $100 million there but I doubt it will have strong legs.  The Fault in Our Stars will end up being a bigger box office success then The Lego Movie since it only had a production budget of $12 million dollars and already made over $65 milllion dollars world wide on its opening weekend.

Edge Of Tomorrow does quite badly in NA, but overseas goes quite well, Maleficent also with a nice hold.

I think both have already opened everywhere.  X-men could probably surpass Spiderman soon or probably earn the same.

Will probably pass it eventually because it looks like it has slightly better legs then ASM2.

HTTYD 2 might break some records in Russia, almost $4m OD(early est.), ratings and wom seems to be high, should be leggy(like DM2, at least).

Wow didn't expect 22 Jump Street to finish ahead of HTTYD2 by almost $7 million domestically on Friday. HTTYD2 still could finish ahead of 22 Jump Street since it could do a lot better on Saturday and Sunday.

Failing to meet expectations in Russia, too, big drop on Friday, won't increase twice on Sat and Sun.

Same picture everywhere, i'd guess, it's still should have very decent legs, but it's a fail, why?
